Seat covers used to minimise cross-contamination while transporting patients.
Branches have been sharing a great example of how we’re supporting key workers this week, supplying disposable seat covers to local health organisations.
GSF Ipswich, GSF Colchester and GMF Bridgend have all supplied the much-needed seat covers, which are used by healthcare professionals to avoid cross-contamination while transporting patients between hospitals and care homes.
GMF Bridgend Branch Manager Lesley Howells said: “We’re trying our best to help out in ways we wouldn’t have previously had to, so we managed to get some covers in from here, Cardiff and Swansea for someone who was collecting them for the Aneurin Bevan Health Board.
“It’s a surreal time and I’m so grateful for the team I have here who are doing a fantastic job supporting customers.”
