Fleet manager Steve Evans provides an update on the current fleet investment project
Earlier this month fleet manager at GSF Car Parts, Steve Evans gave a run down of the top line numbers for the fleet investment, including the rebrand, replacement and additional vehicles.
The next phase of the Fleet rebrand has begun; this phase includes 105 vehicles.
By the end of this week 62 will be complete, and the final 43 will be completed throughout June.
This phase includes a number of older RDC vehicles being rebranded with a simplified design rather than a full wrap.
In terms of additional and replacement vehicles, eight new Ford Transit vans were added to the Chester RDC last week as part of the initial Centre of Excellence plans.
Steve said: “Where we have hire vans that are supporting ‘go for growth’ or approved additional resource, these are being replaced with new vehicles in the coming weeks, 45 in total.
“The aim is to have all other none GSF branded vehicles replaced by the end of August which is subject to vehicles arriving in the UK.
“We have 180 vehicles on order of which 22 are due to arrive in to stock next week.”
