Branch teams receive some kind words for their help and support.
Branch teams received some kind feedback from NHS key workers following their recent service and donations.
First off, Colwyn Bay National Tyres got in touch to place an order for four parts needed to fix the vehicle of an NHS nurse due back on shift that night.
Between Regional Pricing Manager Rob Jackson, CES Chester Operations Manager Mike Nash and IBT Driver Alan Morris, the trio co-ordinated for Alan to drop the parts off at the National Tyres depot on his way back to Chester from CES Porthmadog.
Rob said: “The centre were really appreciative of the support that allowed them to get the car back on the road that day, and they passed on news of our efforts to the NHS worker too, so it was great teamwork.”
Meanwhile, SCMF Thanet received a letter from the Site Director, Medical Director and Deputy Chief Nurse of The Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital after the team donated a substantial package of snack boxes.
The letter thanked the team on behalf of the hospital, its staff and patients. It said: “We have been hugely touched by the support of our local community during this very challenging time.
“Acts of kindness like yours go a long way to help our NHS staff, both practically and emotionally, and your support is very much appreciated.”
