Operational support specialist Lesley Trickett retires this week after 23 years with the business
The Operations team say goodbye to one of their integral team members this week as Operational Support Specialist Lesley Trickett retires.
An ardent Star Trek and Dr Who fan, time and space have rarely proved to be an obstacle for Lesley, who has been instrumental to many projects that took her to every corner of the network and often at all hours.
Senior Operations Manager Danny Bailey said: “I’ll personally miss Lesley’s great sense of humour and unchallenged knowledge of the business, as well as her hard work and dedication that have definitely made my job a lot easier over the years.”
Lesley joined the business 23 years ago at CES Chester, managing the warehouse team from goods in, local dispatch, IBTs and internet sales.
She later progressed to her position within the Operations team and has garnered a fantastic reputation for the support she provides, her no-nonsense approach to getting the job done and going to extreme lengths to help colleagues and branches in need.
