Servicesure donates hand sanitiser to local community following OSRAM partnership

Members choose to support community causes

Local community services and charities have received donations of hand sanitiser from Servicesure as part of a nationwide goodwill gesture.

Servicesure recently partnered with OSRAM to give all Servicesure member garages complimentary hand sanitiser.

Working with a number of the members, our Servicesure team identified and donated more sanitiser to local community projects and organisations.

Servicesure Sales Manager North West and Midlands Ben Spencer said: “The school were very grateful and said the donation came at a great time. They have a fantastic and dedicated team who provide the best and safest possible care for children, which has been crucial during the pandemic.”

Colin Groom from Servicesure member CR Motor Engineers said: “It costs £8.5 million a year to run this end-of-life care charity, so the impact of the pandemic has made it extremely difficult for fundraising. A donation like this helped them at an important point in time.”

Servicesure North East and Midlands Sales Manager Mark Strain said: “It’s a truly worthwhile cause and this donation will go towards protecting both the volunteers who assist with the running of the charity and the local community who use the foodbank.

“And a special thank you to Servicesure member P & W Auto Services, who donated more than £1,500 to the foodbank and supported them with fundraising activities during the pandemic.”

Colin Groom from Servicesure member CR Motor Engineers said: “Teachers and pupils have done incredibly well to adapt to new working and learning environments during the pandemic and I know it’s been a real challenge for them.

“A donation like this will give them more of important hygiene consumables they need to keep everyone at the school as safe as possible.”
