Growing sales and new customers
The team at Waterloo Hull are a great example of how The Parts Alliance branch network is beginning to recover from the coronavirus pandemic.
The branch is consistently growing sales and attracting new customers at a time when service is really shining through.
Branch manager Mark Cowling said: “The sales are increasing every week and we’re obviously not out of this pandemic yet, but it feels like we’re playing a good part in the recovery and a large part of that is down to the efforts of the team.”
With one of the branch’s nearby competitors now closed, Mark and the team have been winning over new customers with their service.
He said: “We’ve worked hard to improve the way we deal with customers in the last couple of years to build stronger relationships and give them a great experience every time they call, so people really like our team and we’re seeing that go a long way now.
“It also helps that we have the quality of products to back up this service and customers definitely put a lot of value on being able to see how reputable our brands and our stock are.”
Regional director John Williams thinks the success the team are seeing now is a justifiable reward for their efforts throughout the pandemic.
“I’ve been in the branch network throughout the coronavirus crisis, so I’ve seen first-hand how our branch teams across the region have continued to prioritise good service to our customers, even during the most worrying times in April and May,” said John.
“It’s no surprise to me that Waterloo Hull is seeing this success; we’ve carefully managed how we’ve scaled resources back up in the branch to match that increase in customer demand and it’s enabled them to pick up the momentum they’d worked so hard to build at the start of the year.”
