REPXPERT members receive a sign-up benefit of 5,000 bonus points
Schaeffler’s automotive aftermarket division and the database and repair software provider ALLDATA have announced the launch of a digital collaboration on the REPXPERT workshop portal in the UK.
It will give REPXPERT’s workshop partners the opportunity to access to an even wider range of vehicle manufacturer repair data and instructions.
The constantly increasing number of functions and assistance systems in modern vehicles is also increasing the complexity of vehicle infrastructure. As a reliable global partner to the automotive industry, ALLDATA ensures greater application coverage with its extensive database, which also includes OEM repair times.
REPXPERT workshop members can benefit from subscribing to ALLDATA in several ways: not only can service and repair work be planned more efficiently and carried out faster, but by using ALLDATA they have access to the latest repair information direct from the vehicle producers, covering over 95 percent of all vehicles currently on our roads.
The annual subscription cost includes repair guides, diagnostic codes, and more than six million technical drawings and wiring diagrams, including illustrations of electrical connections. As an additional incentive until the end of the year, subscribers will receive an additional 5,000 REPXPERT bonus points when purchasing an ALLDATA license via the REPXPERT portal, which they can invest on workshop clothing, tools or promotional materials – plus access to ALLDATA for three users instead of the usual single point access.
ALLDATA’s new ‘LabourTimes’ application offers vehicle technicians and mechatronics engineers the possibility to view exact OEM information on labour rates and reference times with just one click, so accurate cost estimates can be generated quickly and easily.
Sven-Olev Müller, head of Schaeffler REPXPERT, said: “We are currently experiencing a technological shift in the automotive industry, with workshops now dealing with increasingly complex service and repair work, so they need access to accurate and well-prepared information and practical tips.
”The aim of REPXPERT’s service offer is to provide the most comprehensive coverage possible, and ALLDATA’s solution complements our existing offering in the UK.”
Karol A. Englert, managing director of ALLDATA, added: “We are delighted to have found such a respected partner in the global spare parts business as Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket.
”This cooperation not only enables us to support REPXPERT users, but also helps us to further expand our own offering and benefit from each other’s expertise.”
ALLDATA is renowned for its diagnostic, repair and estimating software for the professional automotive service industry. Its database of automotive information and business management tools is used by over 300,000 vehicle technicians and mechatronics engineers worldwide.
