Range of training initiatives benefit technicians and cover all aspects of motor vehicle repair and maintenance
Valeo Service UK has invested in developing future UK automotive technicians by continuing its status as an Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Approved Centre.
As a world-renowned OE automotive parts supplier, Valeo is aware of the positive impact development and training schemes have on the future of the aftermarket, and therefore it is committed to providing reputable training to those within the industry.
The IMI works with more than 600 approved centres to recognise and support the skills of over 100,000 young and adult learners each year.
The IMI’s centre network spreads across the UK and overseas, and includes schools, academies, colleges, employers, vehicle manufacturers and training providers, all utilising the training and development scheme the organisation provides.
Along with its increasingly popular webinar program, Valeo offers a wide range of training initiatives, all of which will benefit technicians within the sector, and cover all aspects of motor vehicle repair and maintenance.
Andrew Swann, Valeo Service UK managing director said: “We are delighted to continue as a certified IMI Approved Centre.
“It continually enables us to offer first-class training to technicians working in an industry that frequently introduces new technology.
“As a manufacturer of such technologies, it puts us in a perfect position to share our expertise as well as give excellent support and guidance when necessary”.
“It is extremely important we continue to invest in the future of the aftermarket and provide the latest training available for current and future technicians to ensure they have the tools and knowledge to get the job done right first time”.
